Tour Highlight

A journey that allows us to discover ancient knowledge and tastes, dialects and traditions, but at the same time varied landscapesarts and crafts of one of the most hidden Italian places.

This region is characterized by parallel valleys, dotted with medieval villages, imposing fortresses and castles, and along which many rivers flow all directions from the mountains to the sea. From the over 2000 meters high rugged and harsh mountains down to the coast, we will pass through a hinterland characterized by rolling hills scattered with vineyardsolive tree groves and spectacular fields of sunflowers.

Wandering around Le Marche we will uncover a treasure chest that hedge in amazing natural secret places and jealously preserves the secrets of ancient crafts as well as ancient knowledge of traditional recipes. Tasting different flavours we’ll learn how to prepare a wide variety of typical dishes, accompanied by local DOC wines. Follow us on Facebook!

Tour Itinerary

  • Day 1: ROME/Monteprandone

    Arrival at Fiumicino International Airport and transfer by GT Bus or 9-seater coach to Rome.
    City Sightseeing and lunch at a typical restaurant. Transfer to Monteprandone, hotel accommodation and walk in the town.
    Presentation of “La cucina dello spirito” and cooking workshop “La cucina dello spirito” and lunch.
    Dinner and overnight stay.

  • DAY 2: MONTEPRANDONE/Ascoli Piceno

    After breakfast, gathering of aromatic herbs and field fresh vegetables.
    Visit of an ancient monastery and cooking workshop focused on traditional recipes from monastic tradition of “La Cucina dello Spirito” and lunch.
    In the afternoon, transfer to Ascoli Piceno, tour of ancient monasteries and tasting of typical cinnamon chocolate. Visit to the ancient centre of Ascoli Piceno, which boasts one of the most beautiful Italian squares, towers and fortresses.
    Dinner and overnight stay.

  • DAY 3: MONTEPRANDONE

    After breakfast, visit to the center of Monteprandone.
    Lunch. In the afternoon, visit of a wine cellar and tasting of food and wine.
    Return to our hotel, dinner and overnight stay.

  • DAY 4: MONTEPRANDONE/Macerata/Treia

    After breakfast, transfer by GT Bus or 9-seater coach to Macerata and visit of the cathedral, the Sphaeristerium and the city center. Transfer to Treia, hotel accommodation and lunch. Cooking workshop on Cencioni di fava and fresh pasta with legumes flour held by “Leguminaria”.
    Dinner and overnight stay.

  • DAY 5: TREIA/Jesi/Treia

    After breakfast, visit of local food plantation.
    Cooking workshop and lunch and local oil tasting.
    Transfer by GT Bus or 9-seater coach to Jesi and visit of the centre. Local wine tasting.
    Return to our hotel, dinner and overnight stay.

  • DAY 6: TREIA/Urbania

    After breakfast, visit of Riserva Naturale della Gola del Furlo.
    Transfer to Urbania , hotel accommodation and lunch.
    In the afternoon, local products and wine tasting.
    Return to our hotel, dinner and overnight stay

  • DAY 7: URBANIA

    After breakfast, cooking workshop held by Francesca Guerra on Lumachella and Montefeltro tradition starting from the study of local herbs walking in the fields. Lunch.
    In the afternoon, history class on Marche traditional cusine.
    Visit to local farmers.
    Optional activities in Urbania.
    Return to our hotel for dinner and overnight stay. .

  • DAY 8: URBANIA/Sant’Angelo in Vado

    After breakfast, Marzuolo truffle hunting with an expert guide and lunch.
    In the afternoon, visit to Azienda Vitivinicola La Montata, where to learn about the origin, the way of production and the secrets of Vino Santo, the unique smoked strong sweet wine in the world.
    Truffle cooking workshop and dinner.
    Return to our hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

  • DAY 9: URBANIA/Urbino/Urbania

    After breakfast, transfer by GT Bus or 9-seater coach to Urbino and visit of the Cathedral, Palazzo Ducale and the center.
    Return to our hotel and lunch.
    In the afternoon, visit of a centre of peculiar pottery produced in Urbania. Tasting of the typical Fossa cheese.
    Return to our hotel for dinner and overnight stay

  • DAY 10: URBANIA/Rome

    After breakfast, transfer by GT Bus or 9-seater coach to the airport.
    Departure from Roma and end of the journey.
