About us
Curious by Nature.
Connected by Culture.
For over 30 years, Italy Explore has been uncovering the authentic soul of Italy through carefully crafted walking experiences. Founded in 1993 from a passion for hiking, nature, and genuine discovery, we create tailor-made tours that connect travellers with Italy’s most remarkable landscapes, rich cultural heritage, and local traditions.
Italy Explore is the incoming travel platform of Four Seasons Natura e Cultura (FSNC), powered by Gaia900 S.r.l. We were born in 1993 from the world of hiking associations, built on a simple belief: the best way to know a place is to walk through it, slowly, with someone who genuinely knows it.
Today we design fully managed tour packages for international travellers and partner operators across all of Italy’s regions. Our team of consultants, destination managers and certified local guides shares one foundation, deep knowledge of the territory and a genuine love of what Italy has to offer.
Our philosophy
Nature is culture
Every landscape tells a story. Every forest trail reveals a legacy of nature and tradition. Every local dish reflects centuries of culture, seasons, and terroir. Exploring Italy with guides who bring these connections to life is what Italy Explore is all about.
How we work
We are committed to the development of a culture of nature, promoting environmental awareness and a model of conscious, responsible travel. We walk together, discover the identity of places, and share authentic experiences.

Some of our qualified guides

Founder of Four Seasons Natura e Cultura, expert hiker and advocate of walking tourism, he served as National President of AIGAE, the Italian Association of Hiking Guides, from 2002 to 2017. A professional guide, he has been leading hiking trips and itinerant treks for many years across different countries and among different peoples around the world.

I have always been passionate about everything related to sustainability, firmly believing that a better world is possible. This is where my interest in organic, biodynamic, fair trade food comes from. For years, I worked on a communication and promotion project focused on organic products and eco-sustainable lifestyles.

A professional hiking guide and photographer, he worked for years with various newspapers and magazines, but the call of nature led him to leave that world behind and embrace his true passion. For ten years now, he has been successfully leading WWF camps in Gran Paradiso National Park.

Anna Venturini has been a hiking guide since 2022 and is also a Travel Designer. She studied Foreign Languages and Literatures at university. Born and raised in Friuli Venezia Giulia, a mosaic of unique and fascinating landscapes, she is deeply connected to this region and to the wild nature that characterizes it.

An innate desire to discover and understand, combined with an equally natural vocation for travel, led him to study archaeology — earning a degree in Archaeology of Magna Graecia from the University of Bari — and to take part in numerous excavation campaigns in both Italy and France.

Giulia is a burst of energy and enthusiasm for life. Born and raised among the green hills of Veneto, she developed a symbiotic relationship with nature and the freedom of outdoor life from an early age. A traveller for as long as she can remember, she roamed around Italy and Europe by camper van with her family, developing that nomadic spirit that has never left her since.

Hiking guide and photographer, he was born in Turin back in 1981, but enrolled in the Faculty of Law in Milan, where he lived for several years. Office work was not for him, so at the age of 30 he took a sabbatical year and travelled by motorcycle from Italy to Australia - without Google Maps, as he likes to point out.

An archaeologist specializing in Classical Antiquity, she has always been passionate about art and history. She brings extensive experience in the museum sector, where she has worked as a guide, organized events, and engaged in public outreach activities. Over the years, she has further developed her expertise in cultural heritage enhancement and in the design and implementation of projects aimed at its preservation and development.

I grew up on Montello, in Nervesa della Battaglia. Having always been passionate about nature and the outdoors, I spent my summers exploring the woods and meadows of these hills, and hiking along the trails of the Dolomites with my parents. This background led me to earn a Bachelor's Degree in Natural Sciences from the University of Padua, where I was first introduced to the profession of guiding.
