The San Vili Way officially begins after collecting the pilgrim credential in Madonna di Campiglio. Descending through forests to Carisolo and Pinzolo, the route includes a visit to the Church of San Vigilio, renowned for its remarkable medieval Dance of Death fresco. Dinner and overnight stay.
Today’s walk follows the Sarca River through the Val Rendena, alternating forest trails and scenic cycle paths. Along the way, visit the picturesque Church of Santo Stefano, perched on a rocky outcrop at the entrance to Val Genova. Dinner and overnight stay.
