Lazio

Ancient civilisations, volcanic lakes, and the Eternal City at its heart.

Lazio is a region of extraordinary depth, and most visitors barely scratch its surface. Beyond Rome lies a landscape shaped by millennia of history: Etruscan necropolises carved into volcanic tufa cliffs, the reflective silence of Lake Bolsena and Lake Bracciano, the wine towns of the Castelli Romani, the waterfalls of Tivoli, the medieval towers of Viterbo. This is a region that rewards curiosity.
