Veneto

Venice, the Dolomites, and centuries of Venetian culture.

Veneto is built on contrasts: the water-borne marvel of Venice, the Palladian rationalism of Vicenza, the wine country of the Prosecco Hills (a UNESCO World Heritage landscape), the Valpolicella valley where Amarone is produced, and to the north, the Dolomites: a range of pale limestone towers that turn pink at sunset and offer some of the most spectacular mountain scenery in the world. The Bellunese Dolomites, the Pale di San Martino, the Marmolada glacier: these are landscapes that stay with you.

With Italy Explore

We approach Venice the way it deserves: early morning, with a guide who knows the sestieri that tourists rarely reach, who can get you into the Scuola Grande di San Rocco before the crowds arrive, and who eats at bacari, not restaurants. In the Dolomites we work with certified alpine guides for the Alta Via routes, and with local wine producers for the Prosecco and Valpolicella experiences.
